31 Jul Sundre Blackout Presentation

Last night was a first for me in my 30+ years in the advertising design profession. AdMaki Creative is currently working with the Town of Sundre on a tourism campaign. Just minutes before the creative presentation to town council, the power went out. Well, without hesitation, everyone brought their phones out and voila, we had light. Without skipping a beat, the Mayor and Council continued the meeting in the dark. Thankfully, we had hand-outs for each member of council and staff and were able to present while others had to postpone. A lesson to colleagues and students: always be prepared for Mother Nature’s wrath.
